Welcome to Stoke St Gregory Community Hub Group. We are an informal discussion group of Stakeholders interested in all matters relating to the HOTV Hub Project based at the Royal Oak site. If you have an interest in present and future activities of the Hub Project, please get in touch, or come along to one of our meetings.

UPDATE JUNE 2025

The Chair of Heart of the Village has informed us that the Management Committee is not planning on holding any meetings with members of the public. With that in mind we were asked if the Community Hub meetings might continue. However, after an email to the contact list, there was very little enthusiasm for this to happen, so no more meetings are planned. HOTV shareholders are always encouraged to contact the secretary, secretary@heartofthevillage.uk if they need any information. Presumably this will also apply to members of the public, especially those that keep the project going by using the shop, pub and cafe.

Thank you to those of you who have supported the Hub in the past

New - November 2024

The new HOTV Committee has decided to revive this useful group in order to better engage with all our stakeholders: shareholders, shoppers, pubgoers, diners and all the other villagers who use services, or are affected by our presence. We want to share our hopes (and fears) for the future, and learn about your own views on how the project can earn the right to use it's title 'Heart of the Village'.

The first meeting of the revived group is at 7 pm on Monday 18th November. It is being held in St Gregory's Church Room (level access from the church car park).

Some HOTV committee members will be present, but the discussion will be about what you, the stakeholder, has in mind. There will also be volunteers at the meeting, who will happy to talk about the exciting opportunities, however little or much time you may have to spare, or wish to contribute.

So, if you would like to feel a little more involved is what is going on, not just at the shop and the pub but behind the scenes, why not come along on Monday the18th?
